Description
Wealth Access remains focused on being the primary user experience for wealth professionals and end clients. By partnering with FIS Tax Information Reporting Suite (formerly Wall Street Concepts) our platform further increases user efficiency by streamlining the process of delivering tax documents directly to end clients. Furthermore, this integration helps firms execute on their ‘Green’ initiatives by reducing paper consumption and delivering tax documents in an electronic format.
Quick Details
How it Works
This integration supports the ability for tax documents to be transmitted directly from FIS TIR to Wealth Access (WA) through a secure file transmission. Once WA receives the documents, we process the inbound files and place them directly into the appropriate document vaults of end clients.
Licensing
There is no additional WA licensing to use the FIS TIR interface. A representative from your firm should contact your FIS account manager to inquire about turning on the WSC interface. During this time, the representative from your firm should also contact your WA account manager to inform them that you are pursuing having FIS turn on this interface.
Setup
Once WSC has enabled the interface, WA can begin the process of setting up the integration. The following projects steps will be taken:
- Client firm reaches out to the WA Client Success team to ask to turn on the FIS TIR integration
- Client firm provides primary contact information at FIS TIR, contact information for the project lead, and an outline of the tax documents expected to be transmitted to WA
- WA organizes conference call with client firm and FIS TIR
- WA will review transmission details with tax provider to ensure tax documents can flow correctly
- What is the desired file name and folder structure for the Wealth Access document vault?
- FIS TIR sends test documents to WA on behalf of client firm
- WA verifies transmission of test documents
- FIS TIR sends production-ready tax documents
- WA consumes and process tax documents, and uploads documents to client document vaults
- Client firm reviews the integration
- Client firm accepts the integration
